The OBS Pakistan team has always been active at all major scientific forums including the Gynecological segment. This was evident in its strong representation at the Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE) conference 13th – 15th March 2015 held at PC Hotel, Lahore.
The ASPIRE was founded in 2001 to improve knowledge and awareness of ART and infertility-related services, with ultimate aim of improving the quality of patient care. Its current faculty of around 18 doctors represents countries like Pakistan, Australia, Canada, India, Taiwan, Sri Lanka and Egypt.
The ASPIRE 2015 scientific sessions extensively discussed the core message of “Creating Social Awareness in Sub fertility.” Presenters included both internationally and locally renowned names in fertility, resulting in one of the biggest conference turnouts in Pakistan.
OBS had sponsored a session on “Predicament in Women’s Health” involving eminent speakers like Prof. Arshad Chohan, Prof. Muhammad Tayyab, Prof. Fareed Zafar and Prof. Arif Tajammul Khan. The session chaired by Prof. Rashid Latif Khan and co-chaired by Prof. Saqib Siddiq managed to attract an audience of over 350 doctors.
The forum also provided an opportunity to further enhance the corporate image of OBS Pakistan with the additional benefit of branding key gynecology brands. It also provided OBS with the opportunity to portray its scientific hospitality to key Gynecological consultants both local and international.
Under the conjoined efforts of CV1, CV2 and Women’s Health teams; OBS was able to reflect a strong presence at the conference.
