In-House Training Program - 1st Session “FINANCE FOR OBS MANAGERS”

Employee Training & Development is a core need of any organization. Training plays a vital role to ensure continuous improvement and development of available human resource which eventually, results in betterment of organizational systems and processes.

For achieving excellence in our current processes and to keep employees well informed about the functional areas, OBS has launched In-House Training Program sessions.

These training sessions are launched to explain some basic concepts of different skills and systems which will be presented in a manner simple enough for any commoner to understand and able to use whenever it is needed.  This will also enable us to move together as a team with the same sense of purpose and with the same set of expectation of each other.

This initiative will create a class room culture within OBS. These in house training sessions will be conducted on regular basis and provide us a platform to utilize the expertise and skills of our internal talent (senior employees), where they would be given a chance to impart their knowledge and skills amongst the other fellow members. OBS will also arrange external trainers in future in order to strengthen the culture of learning and development of employees.

The first step towards this initiative was taken on September 14, 2013, a three hours training session was arranged “Finance for OBS Managers” in which more than 20 employees participated. The idea behind this session was to apprise the participants with basic knowledge regarding financial planning and management of the business by using common information systems and processes at OBS.
