Eid Milad-un-Nabi (صلى الله عليه وسلم) was celebrated by OBS employees with religious zeal, reverence and a commitment to promote teachings of Islam as enshrined in the teachings of Holy Prophet Muhammad(صلى الله عليه وسلم). OBS Employees Recreation Club organized this celebration on 27th February 2012 and a renowned scholar Moulana Khawar Naqshbandi addressed the gathering and pass on the message of Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) to the participants. He urged the participants to follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) in their daily life. A well known Naat Khawn Mr.Qari Rashid Azam recited the Naat (in praise of the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم). A large number of OBS employees participated in this celebration while reciting Darood, Naat and Hamd-o-Sana.
Dr. Ali Afzal, Executive Director OBS Pakistan, conducted the draws for Umrah and Hajj for the unionized staff. The lucky winners for Umrah are Mr. Mohammad Farooq and Mushtaq Ahmed while Mr. Allah Bux and Mr. Fazal Wahab are declared winners for performing Hajj.
