The group has been active in various Continuous Medical Educational activities to keep its members and other pediatricians and physicians up to date.

In continuation with its efforts to create awareness, IDGPPA organized the 4th annual Pediatric Infectious Disease Conference (PIDC) at Pearl Continental Hotel from 7th – 8th January 2012 with the post conference held at Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) on 9th January 2012. The three day conference was a huge success attracting doctors nationwide.

OBS constantly strives to make a difference in people’s life and we, the marketing team believe in fulfilling our company’s motto. The OBS marketing team showed its support by attending PIDC with great enthusiasm. Our aim was to promote awareness amongst the masses about the various infections afflicting Pakistan’s pediatric population and what medical options are available to aid the children in leading a better quality of life.

The registration desk and two hospitality suites were supervised by the OBS sales and marketing team. At the registration desk, attendees were provided with bags that included reading material from OBS which discussed the various treatment options available as well as breakfast, lunch & musical night coupons. At the hospitality suite, verbal discussions were held with doctors to share the latest news and therapeutic information on the latest development of pediatric infections as well as old and new therapies and treatments available. The visitors of our suite were also provided with refreshments (coffee), a pen and brochures.

All in all a successful event where OBS participation was prominent and was highly appreciated by all doctors including member of IDGPPA.
