Group Product Manager

 

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Develops long and short-term business and marketing plans for major products to meet share, volume and profit objectives
  • Identifies long term opportunities within the market place and prepares plans to develop, test and launch new products to exploit them.
  • Prepares the implementation program for comprehensive advertising and promotional program
  • Develops profit awareness of each product within the organization and monitors the product mix options, recommending alternations in pricing/product mix as necessary
  • Monitors performance of products against plan and carries out changes to the plan if necessary to ensure that targets are achieved
  • Seeks to improve profitability by being aware of costs but without detracting from perceived product quality
  • Recruits, trains and motivates a team of Brand/Product managers and assistants and manage an effective marketing unit
  • Evaluates and recommends product pricing and advertising strategies to be agreed by the Sales & Marketing Director

 Job Specification:

The Ideal candidate must meet the following criteria: Minimum Bachelor degree in Science or Pharmacy preferably with an MBA Minimum 8-10 years of commercial experience of Marketing with a good understanding of Sales. Will typically report to the Sales & Marketing Director and will be responsible for a number of Brands/Product Managers.

 

Product Manager

Primarily Accountabilities:

Develops and manages the marketing of assigned brands/products within agreed strategies to ensure that brand/product and business objectives are met.

  • Contributes to brand/product strategy by planning and conducting analysis of market research, identifying problems and opportunities and recommending appropriate strategies and business plans.
  • Controls marketing expenditure within agreed budgets and recommends action to correct any variance from the plan.
  • Maintains close relationships with advertising agencies to ensure implementation of agreed campaigns within agreed budgets and time constraints.
  • Liaises with Sales management to monitor and evaluate promotional campaigns and recommends changes as appropriate.
  • Liaises with merchandizing to develop and implement point-of-sale activities.
  • Liaises with Sales force to identify strengths and weaknesses of brand/product program and recommends corrective action as necessary.
  • Identifies new business opportunities within brand/product ranges based on re launches, package changes and range extensions and assists with the implementation of major plans on other major brand/products.

Job Specification:

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • MBBS/D-Pharm additional business or marketing qualification will be an advantage.  
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years marketing experience.
  • Report to a Senior Brand/Product Manager with reporting of Assistant Product Manager.

 Job Location: the position will based in Karachi with extensive travelling across Pakistan.

Regional Sales Manager

Primarily Accountabilities:

Manage Regional Field Sales operation in order to achieve annual sales volume and distribution objectives within agreed selling cost budgets.

  • Implement sales structure, planning and control systems within region.
  • Participate in the selection, recruitment and training of sales personnel.
  • Monitors, leads and motivates regional sales team, & implements remedial plans where appropriate.
  • Ensure good communication of the company’s business development and sales promotion activities and of all competitor activity.
  • Selection of regional sales staff.

Job Specification:

Will report to National Sales Manager and is responsible for managing a regional sales team. 3-5 years experience in sales with at least two years experience in Sales Management.

Job Location: the position is available at all major locations in Pakistan.

Professional Sales Officer

Primarily Accountabilities:

Responsible for promoting the company product through interaction with the medical practitioners and KOL

  • Ensure that in the allocated territory the customers are met at the prescribed frequency
  • Ensure that the product knowledge is up to date and the customers are update timely

Job Specification:

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Science or Pharmacy  
  • Fresh graduates with flair for Sales/or candidates with two years of direct selling exp in Pharma sector
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills is a must
